HOW TO OBSERVE SALAATUL JANAAZA (A PRAYER ON THE DEAD)

Many people do not know what is said when prayer is being observed on the dead.
This is an important, educative piece of knowledge.

1. After the first Takbeer: You'll recite Suratul Fatihah

2. After the second Takbeer: You'll recite Salaatul Ibrahimiyyah (Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammad wa 'alaa aali Muhammad kamaa sallayta 'alaa Ibraheem wa 'alaa aali Ibraheem wa baarik 'alaa Muhammad wa 'alaa aali Muhammad kamaa baarakta 'alaa Ibraheem wa 'alaa aali Ibraheem fil 'aalameena innaka hamiidun majeed)

3. After the third Takbeer: You'll pray for the dead preferably from the narrated prayers. Some of these prayers are: (Oh Allah, grant him forgiveness, blessings and pardon, cleanse him from his mistakes like a white cloth is cleansed of impurities, replace for him, his house with a better house, his companions with a better companion, his spouse with a better spouse, enter him into your paradise, and save him from the torments of the grave and that of the hell).

4. After the fourth Takbeer: You'll say 'Allahumma laa tuharrimnaa ajrahu walaa taftinnaa ba'dahu' (Oh Allah, do not deny us of the reward and do not distress us after this) then, pray for the dead and every other Muslims. The Salaat is then concluded with the tasleem.
The Tasleem is said only once to the right side.

It is important you share to others, let them know too.

May Allah be pleased with us all.

...and when we walk into big malls, boutiques and supermarkets we never question their pricing. We pay exactly what we see on the price slips and sometimes even share helpful tips with the owners. But the moment we step out of these shops and want to buy banana or peanut our bargaining power rises to the roof.

A poor woman with hungry children at home tells you banana is GH₵5. She even takes her time to explain how difficult it was for her to buy it from the market. But we insist that if it's not GH₵2, we are not buying.

Some of us even step back to our bikes or cars and make to drive away. But because 'half bread is better than none', these starving women are always forced to run after you and sell at no gain.
In her heart she cries, she's worried about how she'll survive with her children. She silently reassures herself that 'It's well since she is not returning home with the banana. Her motivation is God will definitely provide some other day.

Meanwhile we ride or drive off, happily chopping the luscious banana. It breaks my heart and sometimes moves me to tears when I see people who genuinely and helplessly hawk petty goods on the streets of Tamale to feed and survive for that day, more especially the women and children.

Please don't bargain too hard with small vendors. They do business not to buy designer bags, trendy phones, watches, shoes or designer clothes, but to FEED the family and CARE for their ulcerative children in school.
This touched me when I realised it ... so lets CHANGE our ways. Its another way of spending on humanity in the will of God.
"He who gives to the poor lends to his Maker".

May Allah strengthen our faiths!

During our SHS days, when a teacher is explaining a topic they always say, when you get to the university they would enlighten you more. Now in the university, the lecturer will say, we are not going further on this topic because I believe you were taught this in your secondary school. I wonder who was deceiving who 😁

Good day!

:

Everyday we hear people say I want my wedding to be fanciable and mega and eventually end up going in for loans to fund it!

My brother, it's just a day in a lifetime thing and it's not about how much mega your wedding looks, it's about getting married and staying happily married for the rest of your lives.

Why must you go in for loan Mr. Incapable? Is it by force? Will she leave you if you don't do it that way? Let her before you register stress for yourself...those feelings are conditional, the one who truly loves you will find that 'malnourished' wedding setting mega.

I know a lot of guys who're still single because they feel they still can not have a 'standard' wedding, this happen when you, the couples involved don't know your what about? Don't you think that huge sums you intend to kill into the wedding could support your life after you've gotten married? Would you prefer spending that much into the wedding and later dancing along the streets for food to feed her? Hell no!

I don't have a problem if you have that mega wedding and still have more to support your family, but if for you to put in your all or to go in for loan and at the end your debtors start to chase you around for their monies is embarrassing, don't let the society fool you.

Have your wedding withing your capabilities, don't stress yourself to look expensive when for real you don't have it. Make it simple as long as it is not a gay marriage, I'm cool with it.

Mohammed Tawfik Alhassan (General Science, 2013 batch) laments about the northern region.

and

POLITICIANS FROM THE NORTH, THEIR MIGHT AND THEIR PEOPLE.

Northern region has produced and still producing a lot of good and laudable politicians into the Ghanaian Parliament; speakable, thoughtful and highly respectable ones in their midst. We have the most active, outstanding and respected voices in Parliament yet we're the ones that suffer most in the country, our representatives do not have their people at heart neither do they have a little bit of feel for their home land in the heart.

Their position and authority giving to them by the people is not for the people but for they, the politicians and and their respective parties.
They choose to be more of partisans than indigenes of the northern region.

They represent their parties, talk in favor of them and against every propaganda labelled against their parties but can't tell Parliament and the president that northern region needs among other basic needs a whole autonomous offices for birth certificates and travelling passports generation without having to risk our lives to travel all the way down to the Greater region to have them done.

They're the notorious talkative in Parliament yet they can not tell the world that northern region needs more beds and furniture in the Senior high schools for our little brothers and sisters to use, they speak like parrots yet their only West Hospital has been pairing an ambulance with the Central hospital.

For God sake, Ghana is 62years today and what do we find in Tamale? A university (the region's only university) which is constantly hit by extreme water shortages, a teaching hospital where patients often buy common cotton from outside because "it's finished" in the teaching hospital of all places. All this and more yet we have in the government the most piecing voices. Isn't that sad?
