Today, we proudly celebrate Tung-Teiya Dahamani, a distinguished alumna of Alhassan Gbanzaba Memorial School, now Old Airport Ridge School.

A proud graduate of Mfantsiman Girls’ Senior High School, she holds a bachelor’s degree from the University for Development Studies - UDS and a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration - GIMPA.

Her journey of excellence has seen her represent Ghana on the international stage as Miss Intercontinental Ghana 2019 in Egypt, win Queen of the North 2021, and ultimately be crowned TV3 Ghana, Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2022.

Beyond the pageant stage, she is the Founder of BrightPath Global Foundation, an organization dedicated to the development of women, children, and youth.

Her story is a testament to the power of determination, leadership, and service. We celebrate her achievements and the inspiration she continues to provide to the next generation.

🤖🏆 What an incredible achievement for Old Airport Ridge School! 🏆🤖

On Saturday, 25th July 2026, our Robotics Club competed in the 2026 Ghana Robotics Academy Foundation National Robotics Competition (RiSE) at the University of Ghana, Legon—and what an unforgettable day it was!

Competing against 31 teams from across Ghana, our three teams achieved outstanding results:

🥈 Cassia Tech – 2nd Place
🥉 Sunflower Tech – 3rd Place
🏅 Frehsh Girls – 6th Place

To have all three of our teams finish in the top six is an extraordinary accomplishment.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that our girls have only been involved in robotics for just one year and two of our girls are in primary 6!!. Their dedication, teamwork, creativity, and determination have produced results far beyond expectations.

We are incredibly proud of every student, our robotics coach, our supporting teachers, and our parents for believing in this journey and supporting these young innovators every step of the way.

This is just the beginning. These talented girls have shown that with hard work, opportunity, and perseverance, they can compete with the very best in Ghana.

Congratulations to Cassia Tech, Sunflower Tech, and Frehsh Girls—you have made the entire Old Airport Ridge School family immensely proud! 💚🤍
