UDS proudly honours Nathan Addokwei Nsiah, graduating as the Best Student from the School of Engineering with a GPA of 4.7 from the Nyankpala Campus.
Nathan’s journey, from an aspiring medical student to a top-performing mechanical engineer, is a story of resilience and purpose.
After two unsuccessful attempts to study Medicine, he embraced Mechanical Engineering at UDS, where he excelled and developed strong interests in renewable energy, water systems, numerical modeling, and design tools.
Supported by his parents, siblings, and the Cruickshank family, Nathan thrived, embodying calm determination, adaptability, and the true UDS spirit.

PROFILE OF THE BEST GRADUATING STUDENT (HUMANITIES) – UDS 26TH CONGREGATION - EMMANUELLA NKRUMAH – GPA 4.89
The University for Development Studies proudly celebrates Miss Emmanuella Nkrumah, the Best Graduating Student in Humanities for the 26th Congregation.
With an exceptional CGPA of 4.89, she stands out as a symbol of discipline, resilience, and academic excellence.
Her journey began at Ascension School Complex in Atonsu and continued at Ejisuman SHS, where she distinguished herself academically and served as Girls’ Disciplinary Prefect.
At UDS, she started with a Diploma in Development Education, graduating as the Best Female Student, before progressing to her degree programme.
Despite losing her father during her first year, Emmanuella persevered with the support of her family and church community.
She excelled both academically and in leadership, serving on the Departmental Electoral Commission and participating in an international research exchange on Women in Agriculture in Dalun.
Passionate about humanity, especially the vulnerable, she pursued Development Education, gaining solid grounding in research, policy analysis, and human rights.
She hopes to build a career in Human Rights and Social Policy, contributing to Ghana and the world.

The University for Development Studies proudly celebrates Mr. Seutaa Cletus, the Overall Best Graduating Student of the 26th Congregation, graduating with an extraordinary CGPA of 4.90 from the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Economics, Nyankpala Campus.
Born in Wa-Charia in the Upper West Region, Cletus has shown exceptional discipline, academic brilliance, and leadership from his early years through Charia R/C ‘B’ and WASEC.
At UDS, he continued to excel, earning a Diploma in Agricultural Technology (CGPA 4.81) before earning his bachelor’s degree with distinction.
Beyond academics, he distinguished himself through leadership roles including Course Representative, Judiciary Board Chair (IAAS-UDS Nyankpala), Economics Officer (IAAS Worldwide), and Research Committee Chair (TEIN-UDS). His achievements earned him the National Students Platinum Award (Platinum Student in Agriculture) in 2024.
UDS celebrates Mr. Cletus for exemplifying excellence, leadership, integrity, and service values at the core of the university. His success reinforces the Nyankpala Campus as a beacon of agricultural education in Ghana.

From Ashtown in Kumasi to the top of her class at UDS, Victoria’s journey is one of resilience, excellence, and leadership.
She has served in key student governance roles and distinguished herself academically with a strong passion for Molecular Biology, Genetics, and research innovation.
