Ghana's national women's football team is currently trapped in the United Arab Emirates following the Iran-Israel confl!ct that erupted on Saturday.

The 25 Black Queens players and 16 officials travelled to Dubai on February 25 for the Pink Ladies' Cup tournament as part of their WAFCON 2026 preparations.

In the opening game, they won Hong Kong 4-0; however, later that same evening, Iranian m!ssile str!kes h!t parts of Dubai, forcing the UAE to close its airspace and cancel all flights.

Currently, they are confined in their hotel rooms at the Four Points by Sheraton in Sharjah, bags packed, awaiting evacuation orders.
