Meet Miss Rahama, a class 5 pupil of the Nakpanzo Methodist Primary School. Miss Rahama emerged as the best in all reading categories at the just ended 2023 Reading Festival organised by Simba Ghana under the READ ALIVE Project.

Rahama received an honour award for the feat.

Join us tomorrow at the Zujung Primary School in Tamale for the Reading Festival event from 8:30am to 12:00pm.

The festival seeks to promote a culture of reading among children and enhance literacy and learning outcomes in the Tamale Metropolis. 9 pupils from 3 schools will compete in various reading activities and serve as inspiration and motivation to over 100 other pupils. The best performing pupils are to be awarded with reading and learning materials to enhance their chances for quality and continuous learning.
