On Saturday, 27th September 2025, the Girls Education Officer, Mrs. Hawa Salifu, represented the Municipal Education Director at the World Literacy Day celebration, hosted by Compassion-Ghana, a non-profit organisation, at Anajia Christ the King Methodist Church.

The Theme for the programme was "Promoting literacy in the digital era" with children from Compassion-Ghana.
