💪 A Healthy Mind 🧠in a Healthy Body!😀💪

In the refreshing hours of Thursday morning, 19th March 2026, the vibrant learners and dedicated staff of Somanya Methodist Junior High School came together for an energizing aerobic exercise session. Dressed in their colourful jerseys, the school compound came alive with enthusiasm, unity, and movement!

The session, filled with music, stretches and coordinated exercises, was not only a display of physical fitness but also a reminder of the importance of maintaining a healthy body to support academic work.🧠💯✨

As the school prepares for the upcoming end-of-second-term examinations for the 2025/26 academic year, this initiative serves as a great way to refresh minds, reduce stress, and boost concentration among learners.

At Somanya Methodist JHS, we believe that fitness fuels success! 🔥📚✅

🎉🇬🇭 GHANA MONTH CELEBRATION AT SOMANYA METHODIST JHS 🇬🇭🎉

Somanya Methodist Junior High School on Wednesday 18th March, 2026 proudly celebrated Ghana Day as part of activities marking Ghana’s Independence Month this March.

The celebration was a colourful display of culture and patriotism, as both learners and facilitators (teachers) dressed beautifully in Ghana-made fabrics and prints, showcasing the richness of our heritage.

During a special gathering, learners were taken through a brief but insightful history of Ghana by Mr. Courage Amatey aka Kwame Amatey of the Social Studies Department. The session enlightened students on Ghana’s journey to independence and beyond.

The Headmistress, Miss Believe Amoah also addressed the school, highlighting the various leaders Ghana has had both before and after independence. She encouraged the learners to appreciate the nation’s history and contribute positively to its future.

It was indeed a memorable day of learning, culture, and national pride! 🇬🇭✨
