THE FINAL QUALIFYING CERTIFICATE IN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE (FQCG)
The Final Qualifying Certificate in Corporate Governance is a 4-level certification programme leading to the membership of the Boardroom Institute. Upon the successful completion of all the 4 levels, participants are inducted into the prestigious membership of the Boardroom Institute.
THE BOARDROOM INSTITUTE (TBI) is a subsidiary of Accra Business School, a private university accredited by the National Accreditation Board of Ghana to offer globally recognized postgraduate, undergraduate and professional programmes. About the Programme
FQCG is structured into 4 levels of Certification. Each Level is a one-full day, comprising 3 sessions of comprising comprehensive lectures, plus additional hours of take home assignments, syndicate group discussions and book or journal reviews.
Duration: 4 Saturdays
Level 1: Bronze Certificate in Corporate Governance (Directorship)
This highly practical course provides you with an essential overview of the duties and legal responsibilities of a director and enables you to tackle the challenges of the boardroom with fresh confidence.
Level 2: Silver Certificate in Corporate Governance (Finance)
This course is designed specifically for non-financial directors and senior managers. It will demystify the world of finance, allowing you to monitor the financial health of your business, evaluate business plans with confidence and contribute more effectively to boardroom discussion.
Level 3: Gold Certificate in Corporate Governance (Leadership)
This course introduces a more personalised approach to leadership and delegates will be encouraged to understand and develop their own self-awareness and emotional intelligence. During the course you will assess different leadership and decision-making techniques, determine how to build and sustain high-performing teams, and evaluate how these can be applied to your own organisation to contribute to its increased success.
Level 4: Diamond Certificate in Corporate Governance (Strategy):
Explore the relationship between strategy, governance and risk and learn how to use tools and frameworks that support strategic thinking and decision-making. Get the practical insights into how to deliver your current business objectives while future-proofing your organisation.
