🎓✨ 9th Commendation Service & Graduation Ceremony

On 30th April 2026, Obuasi Junior High School Complex successfully held its 9th Commendation Service under the theme: “STEM Education: A Conscious Investment for the Future.”

The event featured a graduation ceremony for our final-year students, recognition and awards for hardworking learners, and inspiring messages from special guests including Prof. Nana Amoako Tuffour I and Mr. Solomon Nchor of Obuasi Senior High Technical School.

We celebrate our students and remain committed to embracing STEM education as we prepare future innovators and leaders. 🚀🔬

🥁🎶 Enhancing Our School Band

Obuasi Junior High School Complex is excited to announce the purchase of a new 5-piece complete drum set, adding to our growing school band resources.

This new addition will support music training, improve performances, and further strengthen extracurricular activities within the school. We remain committed to nurturing talents and providing opportunities for the holistic development of our learners.

The Obuasi JHS Complex has signaled a major shift towards the future as it held its 9th Commendation Service under the theme: “STEM Education, A Conscious Investment for the Future.”

In his address, Headmaster Mr. Aaron Boafo announced that the school will officially launch its STEM Education Programme next academic year in collaboration with the Obuasi Education Directorate.
“We are gradually shifting our attention to STEM Education. We don’t want our students to complete university and complain of no jobs. We have the resources and we must harness them,” the Headmaster emphasized.
This year, 314 candidates (143 males and 166 females) will sit for the BECE, with female students once again outnumbering males for the 10th consecutive year.
