📢 UPDATE & CLARIFICATION

Dear ANOSA Members,

Following the Fraud Alert issued earlier, the Association conducted further verification through some teachers of ANASS and the ANOSA Campus Coordinator, Mr. Sam Tuga.

Our checks have confirmed that Miss Erica Arthur, the user of 053 871 3918, is a bona fide ANASS old student who completed school in 2026 and is a member of the ANASS Old Students Association (ANOSA).

It has also been established that her actions unfortunately coincided with the modus operandi of the fraudsters we had earlier cautioned members about. She explained that she was only trying to reconnect with some of her friends after losing their contact details, and there is no evidence at this time to suggest that she was involved in the reported scam.

Accordingly, the Association hereby clears Miss Erica Arthur of any suspicion and recognizes her as a member in good standing. We sincerely apologize to her for any inconvenience, misunderstanding, or reputational harm that may have arisen from the earlier publication.

We therefore kindly urge all members to receive Miss Erica Arthur in good faith and disregard any suspicion previously directed at her. However, members are still encouraged to remain vigilant and continue verifying the identity of anyone seeking personal information or financial assistance.

🚨 FRAUD ALERT & DISCLAIMER 🚨

Dear ANOSA Members,

Please be informed that the individual using the phone number 050 648 4564 is not a member of the ANASS Old Students Association (ANOSA).

The caller falsely claimed to be an ANASS old student from the 1999 year group, introduced himself as a medical doctor, and stated that he was travelling and needed directions. Under this false pretext, he requested the contact details of fellow old students.

Believing the request to be genuine, I contacted some members, informed them of the situation, and obtained their consent before sharing their contact details. It was only later that we discovered that the caller had misrepresented himself and is not an ANOSA member.

Our preliminary checks indicate that the mobile money account linked to the number is registered under the name ABIGAIL APENTENG. However, the male individual making the calls may not necessarily be the registered owner of the SIM card, so members should avoid drawing conclusions about the account holder's involvement.

Members are therefore advised to ignore any calls or messages from this number (050 648 4564) and to verify the identity of anyone claiming to represent ANOSA before sharing information or offering assistance.

Please note: As General Secretary, I will never share a member's contact details without first informing and obtaining the member's consent.

ANOSA DONATES ONE TON OF IRON RODS TO ASSIN NSUTA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

A delegation from the Alumni of Nsuta Senior High School Association (ANOSA), led by the General Secretary, Organizer, Financial Secretary, and Campus Coordinator, has officially handed over one ton of iron rods to the Headmaster and Management of Assin Nsuta Senior High School on behalf of all ANOSA year groups and the National Executives.

This donation is aimed at supporting the ongoing construction of the school's clinic, demonstrating ANOSA's unwavering commitment to the development and welfare of its alma mater.

During the presentation, the delegation reaffirmed ANOSA's dedication to partnering with the school to improve infrastructure and create a better learning environment for both current and future students. The Headmaster and the Management of the school expressed their heartfelt appreciation to ANOSA for the generous contribution and continuous support.

These actions are unauthorized, fraudulent, and highly inappropriate.
