Running for safe Drinking water for Dromankese

The members of the Dutch Foundation ( Foundation Ghana Over de IJssel ) took part in a sponsor Charity run to collect funds to build more water Cisterns in Dromankese and the surrounding villages.

The school`s performances at the just-ended Kintampo sporting events are much appreciated, well done:

For the upcoming football tournament in Kintampo, three citizens of Dromankese donated cash and football items to the school. The donations were done on behalf of :
Hon. Derek Oduro donated a set of jerseys and footballs
Nana Gyamfi Ankomah - Benkumhene donated a set of jerseys and a cash amount of 400 cedis.
Mr. Kofi Abbre of Germany also donated an amount of 600 cedis.

On behalf of the entire Dromankese Community, we say a big thank you to all donors.

A representative of the Ministry of Education's Infrastructural Inspection from Sunyani paid an official and inspectory visit to the Dromankese Senior High Technical School. This was part of the procedures to include the school into the Government Educational System.

Last week the school board had a meeting with the School PTA to discuss among other things the financial situation affecting the school before the december break.
