mentor: Melanie Mandisa Aardalsbakke is the Co-Founder and project manager of CBS Business School Navrongo, a vocational training institute for young women in Navrongo. It is a community development project offering access to vocational education to the economic and / or academic weaker youth as well as empowers girls with specific initiatives like “ICT for GIRLS”.

Melanie is a social anthropologist and holds an MA in Development Studies with a focus on Local Development Strategies from the distinguished Institute of Social Studies in The Hague.

She is a qualified trainer of youth leaders in Africa-Europe Youth Cooperation and has led youth projects in Switzerland, Ghana and Kenya. Melanie has worked for the Technical Institute of Technology Zurich, the University of Zurich, the German International Cooperation Agency GIZ and the biggest professional NGO in Switzerland, HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation.
