A simile is a figure of speech that compares two different things using the words "like" or "as."

✅ Examples with Explanations
🟡 He is as brave as a lion. 👉 This compares the person's bravery to that of a lion. Just as a lion is known for its courage, the person is also courageous and fearless.
🟡 She ran like the wind. 👉 This compares her speed to that of the wind. Just as the wind moves very fast, she also runs very fast.
🟡 The water was as cold as ice. 👉 This compares the temperature of the water to that of ice. Just as ice is extremely cold, the water is also very cold.
