To all Tijjaniya Mureeds n self-proclaimed Shuyukhs around the World especially in Ghana - if u cant learn from this then u better find another Tariqa n subscribe to.
His Eminence th National Chief Imam n Grand M***i of Ghana, Sheikh Prof. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu at the age of 100years then, sat in complete obedience to his son in-law at the age of about 87, but the son in-law was in different capacity sitting as the Khalipha-General of the Faidatu-Tijjaniya Ibrahimmiyya. Simply put, he was the son n Khalipha of Sheikh Ibrahim Niass.
What have we learnt from this?
The Chief Imam is an Examplary Leader by actions not just by words

🔶 An Englishman asked Sheikh Al-Sha'rawi: Why don't Muslim women greet all men (meaning shake hands)?
Guess how the Sheikh responded?
Al-Sha'rawi replied beautifully, saying: "In your country, can just anyone greet the Queen in Britain?"
The Englishman said: "No, of course not. There's a law that specifies only seven categories of people who are permitted to do so."
Al-Sha'rawi responded: "We also have twelve specific categories of people who are permitted to do so: the father, the grandfather, the husband, the father-in-law, the son, the brother, the uncle, the maternal uncle, the nephew, the niece, the grandson, and the granddaughter.
Just as you do this out of respect and reverence for the Queen,
in Islam, all women are queens.
And every queen has an entourage who greet her, while the rest of the men are her subjects."
May God have mercy on you, Imam, and may we benefit from your knowledge. ❤
