The Fixtures for the Ashanti Regional inter-school and colleges soccer competition have been released by the Schools and Colleges Sports Federation of the Ashanti Region.

The mouth watering fixtures will see over 120 schools battle it out for a spot in the last 32 who will book their tickets to play at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

In all, eight centres will host the group of four spanning over a week with the winner in each group booking a place in the last 32 to be played at the Baba Yara Stadium from the 4th of December.

The ‘mundial’ which has been a platform for showcasing raw talents has attracted huge patronage from scouts all over and won many grassroots soccer fans.

This year’s competition promises to even be more exciting with many high schools having prepared their teams for over a year

With the handlers of the national junior teams eager to beef up their teams, the stage is set for a display of soccer artistery at it’s best

Prempeh College are confident of a successful title defence with contenders like Adu Gyamfi Senior High School, T.I. AMASS, Osei Tutu Akropong, Kumasi High School etc. ready to battle them for the coveted trophy

One major threat to the competition though is the issue of protests by schools and this year it may be even worse. Hopefully the federation will deal with them judiciously to avoid any legal suits which previously have almost endangered the competition.

Who will be crowned the 2014 Inter-Schools Soccer Champion?

It all starts with the qualifiers. “Wo gye wo school di aa, b) ne din” Stand up for your alma mater.

Yesterday i was at the
hospital for my check up. A man came into the Emergency Room and yelling
"My wife's going to have
her baby in the taxi!" I
don't know what got into me: i think its due to
the fact that i like n respect women. I rushed out to the taxi,
lifted the lady's dress, and began to take off her underwear.
Suddenly I noticed that there were several taxis,and I was in the wrong one. NOW SIX OF MY FRONT
