Chromatic Currents is a collection that plays with perception. From afar, the pieces look light and soft, almost like flowing Grecian drapery but a closer look reveals a surprising hardness, sculpted from resin coated silk and painted with expressive layers of color.

The designer, Grace Afingo was inspired by the permanence of Greek sculpture and the fluid unpredictability of abstract painting. The collection conveys simple silhouettes with a touch of exaggeration, marble-like textures and shifting gradients, turning streetwear into living art.

Cloudborne is a theme for a collection that envisions couture as a state of infusing the outerworldly, airy, organic and weightless materials in producing garments that embody the weightlessness, fluidity, serenity and comfort of mist and clouds in motion. The collection reflects the dreamlike poetry of ethereal structures while integrating contemporary innovation in form and structure.

Mary Borteley Kwao is inspired by drifting clouds; evershifting, unpredictable and ephemeral.The painterly surface evokes the blue expanse of the sky with wisps of v***r, giving the garment the illusion of movement and fluid transformation, even when still. The cylindrical silhouette, a cloud’s soft enclosure,enveloping you, yet protective and with form emphasizing the impermanence and transcendence of drifting clouds.
