It is yet again another year to ensure that there is continuity in student leadership. This year’s Handing Over ceremony is symbolic because for the first time in the history of the school, a female student has been given the nod to lead the SRC.

Blandine Akwetey, a second year Home Economics student, received an endorsement to lead her compatriots going into the 2026/2027 Academic Year. She dreamt. She pulled it off beautifully.

We sincerely wish her and the rest of the new prefects the very best. May the lessons learnt from the past guide their actions and inactions for the benefit of all of us.

We also want to seize the opportunity to express gratitude to the outgone prefects for playing their part. May the universe be kind to them in future roles.
