HISTORICAL BACKGROUND/ PROFILE OF MAWULI PRIMARY SCHOOL
1. Mawuli Primary School was established on 16th October, 1979.


2. The establishment of the school was conceived by Mawuli School with the aim of bringing quality education to the doorsteps of pupils in the Mawuli School community and its environs such as Medical Village, Mawuli Estates and Ho Kpodzi. The late W.K. Ameko was the headmaster at that time.


3. The establishment of Mawuli Primary School was a collaborative effort between Mawuli School and E.P. church Educational Unit. The late R.K Appiah was the General Manager of E.P. Schools at that time, while the late J.Y. Agbenyefia was the Regional Manager.




4. The following members of staff of Mawuli school were very instrumental in the establishment of Mawuli Primary School: Torgbe Adiko-Mensah, Mr. Francis Kwawu and Rev. Afenyo (Snr)


5. Mawuli Primary School started with two classes (primary One and primary Two), in the ground floor of Jubilee House of Mawuli School. It was later on moved to its current place. The enrollment figure in primary1 was about 26 while that of primary 2 was about 20.


6. The first head teacher of Mawuli Primary School was Mr. Cephas Adiase. Some of the foundation teachers were the late Gershon Botsyoe, Alfred Deletsu, Teddy Bempeh and Emmanuel Agbodza.


7. The Kindergarten Department of the School was established in 1983. The late Adolphine Dzadey was the first head teacher of the Department. She was assisted by Mrs. Anyadoe, Margaret Tornu and Mary Tsivor, all of blessed memory
