Did you know that Henry House Community School is the home of the EduSpots Ho-Kpenoe Spot?

Since September 2024, our students from three years old and above have benefiting from the innovative Eduspots programmes, known as strands.

Whether it's EduKidz, DigiLit or IgniteEquity, our students and teachers are empowered to take control of their own learning in fun and practical ways.

🇬🇭 Remembering Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah

Today, 21 September, we celebrate the birthday of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah — a leader who understood that education was fundamental to building a strong and prosperous nation.

At Henry House Community School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream and fulfil their potential, regardless of their family’s circumstances.

As we celebrate Nkrumah’s legacy, we are reminded that the Ghana he envisioned will be shaped by the children we educate today.

Our students are not just Ghana’s future — they are the future we are building. 🇬🇭

For the past two years, Henry House Community School has sent students to the National Spelling Bee — and each year, our students have risen to the challenge, making it all the way to the FINALS, competing alongside some of the best and brightest young spellers in the country. 🇬🇭🏆

And this year, we're taking things to a whole new level!

We’re not registering ONE or TWO students…

We’re registering FORTY! 🎉🐝

That’s right — 40 Henry House students will be taking part in this year’s National Spelling Bee competition.

Forty young minds. Forty opportunities to learn, compete and grow in confidence.

Who knows? Among these 40 could be our next National Spelling Bee finalist — or champion! 🏆

Let the spelling begin! 🐝📚✨

A full stomach can make a big difference in the classroom!

At Henry House Community School, we believe that learning starts with making sure students are well nourished, healthy and ready to learn.

Research supports this. A randomized study of Ghana’s school feeding programme found that providing school meals led to moderate improvements in pupils’ maths and literacy scores, with particularly strong gains among girls and disadvantaged children.

That’s why our professional chef provides students with a nutritious, freshly prepared meal every day for just GHS 10. ❤️

Because good food shouldn’t be a luxury — it should be part of giving every child the best possible chance to learn, grow and thrive.

🌱 Healthy children. Happy learners. Brighter futures.

After the excitement of the weekend, our students are settling into a new week of learning, laughter and making memories at Henry House Community School.

Because Mondays don’t have to be boring! 💚

Happy Monday from HHCS! 🌱📖✨

Yesterday was a fantastic first day of the 2026–27 academic year!✨

Our classrooms and school grounds were buzzing with excitement as our students returned, reunited with friends, met the new Headmaster and their teachers, and got straight into a day filled with fun, learning and discovery.

From exciting classroom activities to games, laughter and plenty of new things to explore, it was wonderful to see our students settling back into school life with such enthusiasm.

A new academic year brings new opportunities, new challenges and new dreams — and we can’t wait to see our students learn, grow and shine throughout the year!
