White blood cells are also called leukocytes. They protect you against illness and disease. They flow through the bloodstream to fight viruses, bacteria, and other foreign invaders that threaten your health.

There are 5 types of white blood cells in the bloodstream and they are of varying concentrations in the blood. They include, neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils, monocytes and lymphocytes.
Neutrophils are the most predominant white blood cells in the blood whereas basophils account for the least of the white blood cells.

The stomach is lined with a dense layer of cells, called epithelial cells, which continually sacrifice themselves in order to protect deeper layers of the stomach wall. Each minute, the surface lining sheds some 500,000 cells, and it completely replaces itself in 3 -4 days.
These epithelial cells and an underlying lamina propria of loose connective tissue makes up the mucosa .
For the entire digestive system, mucosal cells need to be replaced every 2–3 days since they are exposed to substances in food like pesticides and toxins and bacteria, as well as digestive substances like hydrochloric acid, bile, and enzymes which can be damaging.
Failure for the stomach lining to be replaced will increase the risk for gastritis or an ulcer.

What is AIDS 🎗️?

AIDS is a set /collection of symptoms (syndrome) caused by the Human Immuno Virus(HIV).🎗️

It is the late stage of HIV infection that occurs when the body’s immune system is badly damaged because of the virus and renders the individual prone to all other complications.🎗️

-Unprotected s*x with an infected person

- sharing of needles, syringes,razor blades,toothbrushes and others

- Exposure to bloody fluids with HIV.
