MAKE ROOM FOR THE OWNER :
( Matthew 8:28-34 )

Today’s lesson reminds us of a powerful encounter. Jesus crossed the sea and met two men possessed by demons. He did not say a word, yet the demons cried out, “Have You come to destroy us? Send us into the pigs.

Why such fear?. Because of bad deeds, the Spirit of God had departed from those men. Their lives became empty vessels, and demons filled the space. But the moment Jesus appeared, the demons recognized Him. They knew the true Owner of the vessel had come.

This is a warning and a promise for us. When we push God out through sin, anger, unforgiveness, or pride, other spirits find room. But when Jesus shows up, darkness must confess who is Lord.

As we enter a new month and a new quarter, let this be our prayer: Lord, make my life new. Do not let my heart be an empty house. Let the Spirit of God dwell in me richly. And as He dwells, let me follow His leading - in my words, my work, and my relationships.

A life filled with God has no space for destruction. The Owner has come. Let Him stay.
Amen.
