The staff at the Department of Accounting are leading experts in their areas of specialisation which facilitates the delivery of cutting-edge, industry focused accounting education and research across different levels. Our faculty have published in top-tier journals and made insightful contributions on national and international issues in the areas of accounting, auditing, taxation among others. We have demand driven and uniquely designed programmes targeted at the ever-evolving needs of the industry. At the bachelor’s level, there is the four-year Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) programme. For postgraduate studies, our students have the opportunity to study Master of Commerce (Accounting) and Master of Business Administration (Accounting) either on the regular mode or on the sandwich mode. In addition, we collaborate in offering a PhD in Business Administration. There are other exciting opportunities that enhance the learning and social experiences of students and faculty which contribute to their overall quality of life. Overall, we provide student-centred learning experiences that are sensitive to student needs and aspirations. Our graduates are in high demand across every industry across the country.
