7TH CONGREGATION OF THE E.P. COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, BIMBILLA

On Saturday, July 27, 2024, the E.P. College of Education, Bimbilla, celebrated its 7th Congregation, marking a significant milestone as it was the first graduation ceremony under the college's new affiliation with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The ceremony was graced by notable figures including the Chairman of the College Council, the representative of the Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, the representative of the Moderator of the E.P. Church, and other distinguished guests. The event was held under the leadership of the acting principal, Mr. Salifu Seidu Anas.

The 2023 batch consisted of graduates from three different programs: the Early Grade Programme, the Primary Education Programme, and the Junior High School Programme. Statistically, the total number of graduates across all programs was 354 students. The Early Grade Programme had a total of 18 graduates, all achieving Second Class Upper division. The Primary Education Programme saw 61 graduates, with 4 achieving First Class honours and 57 earning Second Class Upper. The Junior High School Programme had the largest number of graduates, totaling 275. Among them, 77 achieved First Class honours, 194 earned Second Class Upper, and 4 received Second Class Lower division.

The 7th Congregation of the E.P. College of Education, Bimbilla, was a landmark event, celebrating the achievements of its graduates and the beginning of a new chapter under the affiliation with KNUST. The presence of esteemed guests and the excellent performance of the students highlighted the institution's commitment to academic excellence and its role in shaping the future of education in the country.

With the beautiful cultural display, the Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Alhaji Sayibu Alhassan Shani, Principals of Sister Colleges, the Nanumba North Municipal Chief Executive, the Nanumba North Municipal Director of Education, the Nanumba North Municipal Police Commander, Former Principal, Abu Weimah, Prof. Shamsu-Deen Ziblim (Guest Speaker), the Massaka Chief Imam, Bimbilla, Alhaji Sheikh Aliu Abubakari, the College staff, etc. were all present to grace the event.

Interestingly, special awards were given out to some outstanding students and the awardees include; Amanfo Darllington as the Overall and Best Male Student, Adu Bevelyn Abokoma (Miss), as the Best Female and other 9 students.

Once again, Management congratulates all the graduates and wishes them the best in life.
