The AGBL Old Students Association (AGOSA) today presented a donation of GH₵40,000 to its former Headmaster, Mr. Peter Dadzie, in support of his medical care.

The Association was represented by a delegation comprising 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐨, a former AGBL teacher; 𝐌𝐫. 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐬 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐢, former AGOSA President; 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐊𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐤𝐲𝐢𝐦, AGOSA General Secretary; and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐚, AGOSA Organiser.

Also joining the delegation were 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐱 𝐀𝐠𝐲are (AGOSA 2008), 𝐌𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐡 (AGOSA 2013), 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐲 𝐘𝐞𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐡 (AGOSA 2009), 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐞 (AGOSA 2009), and 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐚 (AGOSA 2012), representing the broader membership of the Association.

The donation represents the collective support of AGOSA members and year groups who responded to the Association's appeal.

As additional contributions are still being received, the Executive Committee will ensure that all subsequent donations are duly transferred to Mr. Dadzie.

The Executive Committee extends its sincere appreciation to every year group, individual member and well-wisher who contributed towards this worthy cause.

DESIGN & PRODUCTION OF OFFICIAL AGOSA SOUVENIRS

The A.G.B.L. Old Students Association (AGOSA) invites applications from individual designers, branding companies, souvenir producers, and other suitably experienced service providers to design and produce official AGOSA-branded souvenirs.

• T-shirts
• Caps/Hats
• Cups/Mugs
• Keyholders
• Bags
• Other branded promotional items

📅 Application Opens: 17 August 2026
⏰ Application Deadline: 17 October 2026

Applications will be reviewed based on creativity, quality, originality, suitability to AGOSA, professional experience, production capacity, pricing, and overall value.

📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE – FUNDRAISING EXTENSION
Dear AGOSA Family,
The Executive Committee is pleased to announce that our fundraising exercise in support of our former Headmaster has been extended by three (3) weeks to allow every year group the opportunity to participate.

Why the extension?

We are still working to establish contact with the 2004 and 2005 year groups.

We have not yet received any response from the 2010 year group.

The 2016 year group requested additional time to organize their contribution.

📅 Important Dates

Final deadline for contributions: 28 August 2026
Presentation of the donation: 30 August 2026

Payment Information Members are encouraged to channel their contributions through their Year Group Representatives.

If you are unable to reach or identify your representative, you may send your contribution directly to the Association's Mobile

AGOSA officially announces a donation initiative in support of our former Headmaster, Mr. Peter Dadzie.

As an association, we believe in honouring and supporting the teachers and leaders who contributed immensely to our discipline, education, and personal growth at AGBL. We therefore encourage all members and year groups to join this exercise in the spirit of unity, gratitude, and service.

Donation period: 18th May 2026 – 7th July 2026.

Members are encouraged to channel their contributions through their respective batch representatives.

During the 4th Graduation Ceremony of AGBL School, some distinguished former teachers and administrators of the school were honoured with Citations of Honour in recognition of their dedicated years of service, leadership, mentorship, and lasting contributions to the growth and success of the institution.
