1. The Ryfylke Tunnel in Norway is the world’s longest and deepest undersea road tunnel, stretching 14.4 km and reaching a depth of 292 meters below sea level.
2. – It is part of the Ryfast tunnel system, connecting Stavanger with Ryfylke, significantly reducing travel time and eliminating the need for ferries.
3. – Construction began in 2013, and the tunnel officially opened on December 30, 2019, as a key infrastructure improvement for the region.
