OBINNIMDA D/A BASIC SCHOOL.

Obinnimda D/A Basic School was established in the year 1960 as a primary school.
The school not having a Junior High school(JHS), always make sure they produces a number of well taught and trained pupils over the years to fit into the Junior High Schools in the near by communities.
This happened for so many years until in the year 2017, the headteacher, Mr. Benjamin Baadu came into suggestion with his hardworking staff members to also put it before the district assembly, the need to start JHS in the Obinnimda community.
Through the assistance of the District Assembly, the PTA and the SMC, their effort wasn't in vain and today, Obinnimda D/A is also recognized as a basic school having both the Primary and the JHS.

The School has achieved a lot in terms of sports and academics. And although, the school is yet to produce her first JHS graduates in the year 2020, yet they were able to excel in two consecutive quiz competitions organized in the circuit.

Per the look of things, it has been observed that Obinnimda D/A Basic school is going to be among the top Basic schools in the district despite its location.

This dream of the school can be achieved not only by the teachers in the school, but also through your little effort, in order to cater for infrastructure and other learning materials.
