The leadership of the Ajumako Hall in collaboration with the management of the college of Language Education, UEW, Ajumako have held the maiden meeting with the landlords/Landladies of their Affiliates staying out the Ajumako campus on Wednesday November 2nd, 2022.
The meeting which was chaired by the Registrar of the college, Mr A.A. Essah and was support by the vice Dean of students' affair, Dr. Regina Oforiwaa Caesar and the Ajumako Hall Manager, Mr Andy Yao Agordah was an opportunity to discuss matters affecting the welfare of affiliates staying outside the campus.
The leadership used the occasion to discuss the issues relating to the accommodation and general welfare of students staying oustside campus which includes; Non-availability of essential basic facilities in rented facilities such as toilet, potable water etc, indiscriminate increase in rent regardless of the size of the rooms and the facilities therein,Advance payment of rent without tenancy agreement and their related issues, indiscriminate ejection of students from facilities without notice, maltreatment of students, renting for six months and one year instead of four months and eight months respectively.
The leadership of the Private Hostel Operators Association, Ajumako also pledge to cooperate with affliates to ensure their smooth stay.

As part of the homecoming and hall week celebration, the affiliates of the Ajumako hall had health walk with the principal of the college on Wednesday 7th September 2022. There was a massive participation by the staff of the college.

The leadership of the Ajumako hall/ JCRC has held their general meeting. As part of the Plans leadership of the Ajumako hall/ JCRC to help solve problems of their affiliates, they organised this general meeting. It was also an opportunity to introduced the new hall manager to affiliates and also give affiliates the schedule of activities for the 2022 homecoming and hall week celebration which is scheduled for 5t September to 11th September 2022. It was also an opportunity to educate affiliates on their partnership with the sina opticals to conduct free eye screening for learners.
