π± Welcome to 2026!
As we step into a new year, Dignity for Girls Foundation (DGF Ghana) begins with hope, intention, and purpose.
In 2026, our focus is on careful planning, partnership-building, and seeking support to implement our first proposed menstrual health education pilot in rural Ghana.
We are starting small, listening closely, and preparing thoughtfully-because sustainable impact begins with strong foundations.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. π
π©Έ Why Menstrual Health Matters
In rural Ghana, many girls miss school every month - not because they lack ability, but because they lack access to safe and affordable menstrual products. Menstrual health is not just a health issue. It is an education issue, a dignity issue, and a gender equity issue.
At Dignity for Girls Foundation (DGF Ghana), we believe no girl should have to choose between her education and her period. π
π± A quick note as we begin
Dignity for Girls Foundation (DGF Ghana) is currently in the planning and proposal-writing phase for our first proposed pilot program, which we intend to implement in selected schools in the Fodoa community in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
At this stage, we are building partnerships, engaging communities, and seeking funding to support menstrual health education and dignity initiatives.
We believe in starting thoughtfully and responsibly-listening first, then acting.
Thank you for walking with us at the beginning of this journey. π
