Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that esults for this year's senior high school (SHS) placement for qualified Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduates will be out on September 17, 2025

*How does the CSSPS placement works*

1. *Raw Score Calculation*: Your raw score is calculated from the four core subjects.
2. *Comparison and Selection*: The system compares raw scores of students who chose the same school. If a school has 1800 available spots and 2000 students chose it, the top 1800 raw scores will be selected.
3. *Course Choice Impact*: Your course choice can affect your chances. If many students didn't choose your course, you're more likely to get the school.
4. *Course Popularity*: Popular courses like Science and General Arts can be competitive, while less popular courses like Visual Arts might have an advantage.

This means that a student with a higher aggregate might get a school over someone with a lower aggregate, depending on their course choice and raw score. *Got it?*
