𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐉𝐌𝐌𝐋 𝟐𝟓 𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄.

1. The lecture shall be organized in a hybrid form (onsite and online). We anticipate at least 1,200 participants onsite at Pentecost University, Sowutuom, and at least 2,000 participants online from Ghana, UK, USA, and South Africa. The registration and participation at the satellite campuses in UK, USA, and South Africa shall be coordinated by representatives (to be selected by the steering committee) in these regions.

2. Scholars, Area Heads, Pastors, and all PU alumni shall be encouraged to participate either onsite or online.

3. All PSTM graduate students must participate in both JMML 25 and Pentecost Research Forum

4. There shall three plenary sessions with three keynote speakers after which there shall be a panel discussion on the three keynote presentations before the breakout sessions.

5. There shall be nine (9) breakout sessions. Each group will have one person (either a scholar or a practitioner) presenting for 30 minutes and 10 minutes for Q &A

6. Representatives of sister private universities (Trinity Theological Seminary, Akrofi-Christaller Institute, Methodist University, Presbyterian University, Perez University College, and Maranatha University College, Ashasi University) shall be invited.

The theme for the 2025 James McKeown Memorial Lectures (JMML25), “Reshaping,” is strategically aligned with The Church of Pentecost’s annual theme, “Unleashed to Live a Life Worthy of Your Calling.” This theme underscores the need for Christians to exert influence and reshape every sphere of society, by conceptualizing these spheres as mission fields.

The JMML25’s theme aims to stimulate scholarly research and dialogue concerning the impact of the Gospel on cultural, generational, and systemic transformation. It highlights the necessity for Christians to function as agents of change within every sphere of influence.
