Dawhenya Methodist Basic A School was established in January 1952 by the Methodist Church at Dawhenya with eighteen learners. It was absolved by the Government of Ghana as a Public School in 1961 with the total enrollment of eighty six with four teachers. Currently, the school has the total enrollment of One thousand and ninety learners.
