Also in attendance were Patrons, members of the Advisory Board, and the Chevening officer at the High Commission.

The meeting was to introduce the High Commissioner to the status, activities, and strategic direction of the Chevening Alumni Association in Ghana.
During the engagement, the High Commissioner shared his professional background and diplomatic priorities. The Executive Council, in turn, briefed HE on the alum association’s ongoing initiatives, operational challenges, and forward-looking plans. Particular emphasis was placed on:

2. Consolidating and deepening UK–Ghana bilateral relations through alumni-led initiatives.
3. Leveraging technology to enhance engagement with Cheveners nationwide, including the development and effective management of a centralised alum database.
4. Exploring alignment between the High Commissioner’s regular visits to other parts of Ghana and the Chevening Alumni workplan, to facilitate structured engagement between
The High Commissioner and Cheveners outside Accra.
