🇬🇭 STEAM AHEAD 2025 – SHENZHEN, CHINA 🇨🇳 Update

We are pleased to announce that a 20-member Ghanaian delegation made up of brilliant students, supportive parents, dedicated Olympiad coaches, and officials from the Ghana Olympiad Academy has arrived safely in Shenzhen, China for the STEAM AHEAD Youth Program. Ghana is the first country to arrive, and the team is spending a day rest as they await the arrival of other participating countries.
The main activities begin tomorrow, 13th December 2025, with the International Junior Math Olympiad (IJMO) and the International Junior Informatics Olympiad (IJIO) opening the competitions. On Sunday, 14th December 2025, the Vanda International Junior Science Olympiad (VIJSO) will follow with both the individual and team rounds, where Ciessey Muhammad will proudly compete. We look forward to a rewarding and successful event.

Ciesey Maahi Wunnintima Muhammad, a student in Grade 5 and a participant in the 2025 Vanda Science Olympiad, is embarking on a ten-day educational trip to represent Creative Ambassadors Montessori school in Shenzhen, China, for the STEAM AHEAD Youth Program.
He is joined by fellow students from Ghana Christian High International School, St. Peter’s International School, Presec, Legon, and Wesley Girls’ Senior High School, accompanied by parents and officials from the Ghana Olympiad Academy. This evening, the team departs for China, marking Ghana’s 5th consecutive appearance at this prestigious global event.They will join over 2,000 competitors from 45 countries , showcasing their skills, creativity, and excellence on the world stage.
