All Nss personnel must obtain new E-Zwich
cards immediately (during the filling of the e-
zwich registration form, the portion for PIN
NUMBER you should write your NSS NUMBER
instead) for the purposes of processing and
payment of your monthly allowances.
Feed the district Secretariat with your full
names, E-Zwich numbers, place of posting,
name of immediate supervisor and phone
numbers of immediate supervisors. The Details
mentioned above should reach the district nss
office latest by 27th October, 2014. Failure to
comply will result to no allowance payment or

CONFUSED SERVICE PERSONNEL AND THE SILENCE OF NASPA
I have watched with increasing bitterness the state of confusion of the service personnel and terrible conditions of service that get worse day by day. Unfortunately, this which should have assumed a discussion topic has been left abandoned like a piece of s**t because no one cares. What has even added to the already complicated situation is the silence of NASPA. I have come to accept the growing opinion among many that NASPA is only excellent in the collection of dues than fulfilling its responsibilities. Why should this be so? Knowing clearly the challenges service personnel face each year, what stops NASPA from spearheading a crusade that seeks to discuss for instance an important issue of accommodation with stakeholders so as to be able to reduce the frustration. After going through a hectic experience of moving to places of our postings which we did not choose-only NSS knows how we got there, to suffer days of long queue at registration centres and of accommodation. Personnel have now been confronted with an important issue of when to expect allowance especially in the midst of ongoing investigation by BNI into alleged corruption at the secretariat. An interview reveals that districts NSS have not even forwarded registered names to regional and central office for processing. the question is when? Govt must act quickly before the unavoidable happens.
Indeed while the service personnel is confused, NASPA has shamefully remained silent.

Service Personnel Payment System.

Good afternoon comrade and follow personnel.
1) The national service allowance shall be paid to all service personnel who have fulfilled their service obligations by the scheme act. Act 426.
2)Secondly the payment comes after personnel have filled the Monthly Assessment Form and have it endorsed by your supervisors and sent to their district offices not later than 30th of each month.
3) All personnel servicing at the private sectors kindly make sure your company has fulfilled their obligations by paying the 20% rate to the national service secretariat before sending the endorsed assessment form to the Secretariat.
4)Kindly note that payment of allowance shall be done at the district offices not regional offices of the national service Secretariat. a)After fulfilling the above recommendation kindly head straight to your district office and write your name in your log book ( the log book is the book you wrote your name ,number and address when you submitted your endorsed copies "original and copy" to the district office.
b) You will be given a payment voucher assign to a specific bank example Accra North(legon, Adentan, Haatso,Ga East, Medina) etc personnel will have their
payment voucher assign to Baclays Banks Ghana. Kindly note that payment of allowance for this month is strictly to Personnel whose endorsed forms were before 20th September 2014.

The Greater Accra Secretariat wishes to announce for the information of the Genral Public, POSTPONEMENT of the registration exercise to Tuesday 9th September, 2014, to enable the Secretariat put in the necessary measures needed to ensure a stress free registration process. All Service Personnel are please required to take note of this new development and act accordingly.

NOTICE TO ALL POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS PREPARING FOR NATIONAL SERVICE
The National Service Secretariat is glad to inform all Polytechnic Students that in view of their upcoming examinations, special arrangement is being done to enable you do your National Service registration after your papers. You are hereby encouraged to concentrate on your examination in order to ensure a successful completion of your HNDs.
In this light, Team KwaMe for NASPA Prez will like to seize this opportunity to wish our colleagues the very best of God's grace and favour in your examination. May the Almighty God see you through.
However students who may want to register will be allowed to do so.

TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENT FOR PERSONNELS
The Secretariat is also putting transportation arrangements in place for National Service Personnels posted to the three (3) Northern regions: Upper East, Upper West & Northern regions. Hence buses will be made available at the NSS Accra Metro office.

PROCEDURE FOR NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL WITHIN GREATER ACCRA
Public Sector
National Service Personnels are to:
1.Visit www.nssghana.org, click posting, enter your NSS number and print your National Service Posting form and appointment letter.
2. Present a copy of their posting forms and their school ID cards (Personnel can however present National Identification Cards such as NHIS, Driving License, Voters ID cards or Passports in the absence of their ID Cards) to their NSS regional offices for endorsement.
(Please note photos will be taken for their NSS ID cards.)
3. Send the endorsed form to their place of posting, for the Head of the Institution or the organization to endorse the form.
4. After that, one should do three copies of the form, keep one and submit the original copy of the endorsed letter of appointment and one (1) photocopy to the Municipal/District office of NSS (not the regional office). There are some situtations where the District/Municipal Office is located in the premises of the regional office.
5.Submit the remaining two(2) to the institution you have been posted to, you can then start your national duty immediately.
There are NSS numbers on the endorsed forms, service personnels are to keep this number safe.

PriVate Sector.
National Service Personnels are to:
1. Visit www.nssghana.org, click posting, enter your NSS number and download your posting form.
2. Present your posting form with your Student ID or National Identification Card (Drivers, NHIS, Passport etc) to the Regional office where you have been posted.
3. Pay the required registration fee of 40GHc and obtain a scratch card.
4. Open the registration page at the NSS Regional website (www.nssgra.org). Carefully follow the registration steps and provide all the necessary information to complete the form.
(Please carry along a softcopy of your passport picture for the online registration).
5. After completion of the form, print out your National Service Posting Letter or Letter of Appointment (in colour), already endorsed (signed, stamped and dated) by the Regional Director.
(Please NOTE!!!!! Black and white appointment letters will not be accepted).
6. Make 3 photocopies of endorsed appointment letter, making 4 and proceed to your place of posting for endorsement by HOD/supervisor.
(Endorsement consists of signature of officer, date indicating when you are to start work & stamp of organization).
7. Return the original copy and one copy of the endorsed appointment letter to the district office.
(Please NOTE!!!!! Ensure that the endorsed original appointment letter gets to the NSS district office within 3 days for preparation on nominal roll).
8. Pick up your ID card from the district office at the date to be provided at the District office.

URGENT NOTICE!!!!!
1. National Service personnel are please advised to keep a copy of their endorsed letter of appointment for reference sake, and present them at a future date as and when the need be.
2. All Service Personnel will be recognized by their Service numbers indicated on the endorsed forms, hence are humbly advised to note them down.

PROCESS OF REGISTRATION FOR NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNEL POSTED TO BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS( FROM THE NSS ORIENTATION).

PUBLIC ORGANISATIONS
1.Take a copy of your posting letter of appointment and your previous school's ID card( or National ID card, voters ID or NHIS ID) to your registration center for submission and endorsement.
2.Go for the endorsed forms the next day and print out 3 additional copies.
3.Take two of the forms( originally endorsed forms and one photocopy) to the district office of NSS.
4. Finally send the remaining two to the company which you're posted to.
NB: National service officials would be in green jackets.
That's all.

PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS.
1. Present a photocopy of your posting letter and your previous school's ID card to your zonal center.
2. Pay your posting fee of 40 cedis(remember to take a receipt), after which you would be given a scratch card.
3. Scratch the card and visit www.NSSGAR.ORG. fill the form with the necesary information and submit.
4. Please print(coloured) a copy of the online form.
5. Make 4 photocopies of the form to be endorsed by the supervisor of the organisation to which u are posted.
6.Present an original copy and a duplicate of the form you printed online to your district NS office. That's all.
Registration starts on 8th Sept 2014.
