I felt a cold chill down my SPINE
Leaving no room to wine or DINE
As death took from me without a SIGN
The realities of a life worth the WHILE
The journey of a life beyond a MILE
Oh death!! Where is your STING
Oh death!! What gain did you BRING
Depriving us of the cheerful songs we used to SING
Oh,that my head were a spring of WATER
And my eyes a fountain of TEARS
I would weep day & NIGHT
For I have witnessed an awful SIGHT
Oh, that I had in the dessert a hiding PLACE
There I would plead my doubtful CASE
Yet I found no dwelling PLACE
So permit me to weep and wait for the MOUNTAINS
And set in my heart a spring of tears like a FOUNTAIN
Permit me to take up a LAMENT
Concerning the dessert pastures like JEREMIAH
Or live me to explore the ancient times like ISAIAH
For my heart burns painfully like NEHEMIAH
I may not be the weeping PROPHET
Or a poet that seeks PROFIT
Yet allow me to cry with SANITY
And express how life is full of VANITY
It's 2AM, Yes it's 2AM ! but call me the sons & daughters of "2PM"
For our brother has gone just 2soon
How can we sleep? when we have ink stored up in barrels & "Kufuor Gallons"
Amidst "Mahama's Dumsor" we will still write with "Os)n)"
Allow me to call the wailing students of LABONE
The most skillful of them in Business 5
That they may share in my sorrow & PAIN
As water streams from my eyelids without GAIN

BUT HEAR THIS!!

Tears may FALL
But memories linger ON
We may have LOST
But better to count the COST
For truly life has several twists and TURNS
Revealing its colours in phases and STAGES
Wheather good or bad,there are SEASONS
And only God's sovereignty can give the REASONS
"GIVE ME THE WINGS OF FAITH TO RISE
WITHIN THE VEIL & ABOVE THE JASPER WALL"
For our son,student,brother,friend, faithful companion & true epitome of humility."DONALD DARKO" has stood tall
AND SEE, HOW GREAT THE JOY OF THE SAINTS ABOVE!
