After a rigorous one week apprenticeship based vocational training in sewing and beads making, 52 low income and vulnerable women from communities across the East Gonja district of Savannah region graduated successfully.

Presenting certificates, graduation parcels and start-up kits to the beneficiaries, Mr. Richard Broni, Municipal Chief Executive of the East Gonja district, congratulated the participants and advised them to put into practice the skills they have received through the training.

Programs Manager for Food for All Africa, Mr. Ibrahim Shehu Babangida reiterated Food for All Africa's commitment in creating efficient and sustainable means of healthy nutrition for communities through advocacy, food recovery and redistribution in co-operation with credible and potential partners in all sectors.
"Food for All Africa offers all year round feeding programs to over 100,000 beneficiaries and vocational training to at-risk youth across Ghana.
Major programs include Daily Hot meals for Homeless, Monthly food box/food bag distribution to vulnerable and incapable of working, Lunch Box School Feeding program, Food Recovery, Vocational training and job recommendation for unskilled youth."

He expressed his organizations profound gratitude to partners such as Mothers Alliance Network-BusiMoms , Food Banking Regional Network, مبادرات محمد بن راشد العالمية - Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives, Wipe-Away Foundation and East Gonja Municipal Assembly for making it possible for a successful training and indicated their willingness to keep up with the beneficiaries on their progress.

It's been four days of hands-on apprenticeship based vocational training in tailoring for over 50 mothers from seven communities across the East Gonja district of the Savannah region. Beneficiaries came up with different designs through their practical's.

84 exceptional low income youth and single mothers from the Anglo-Keta districts of the Volta region yesterday graduated from a 5 days hands-on apprenticeship based vocational training and job recommendation by FFAA School of Vocational Apprenticeship, Mothers Alliance Network-BusiMoms and Caring Sisters Vocational Training Institute.

Participants were trained in liquid soap making, washing powder,catering,entrepreneurship,beads making and how to use information technology to promote their businesses.

The training was free and funded by Beiersdorf CEWA, United Way, The Global FoodBanking Network and supported by Boss Baker Ghana

For All Africa's FFAA School of Vocational Apprenticeship in partnership with Mothers Alliance Network-BusiMoms and Caring Sisters Vocational Institute, Tegbi on Monday begun a 5 days Apprenticeship based vocational training and job recommendation for 72 low income youth and single mothers whose livelihood have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The training which forms part of Beiersdorf CEWA, The Global FoodBanking Network and United Way funding aimed at assisting 500 Ghanaians gain the requisite skill match for job opportunities in a COVID-19 pandemic era.

Participants are been trained in soap making, washing powder, shower gel, Vaseline, catering, hospitality management, baking, entrepreneurship and information Technology.

Similar trainings would be held in the Ashanti, Greater Accra, Western and Eastern regions of Ghana.

The fight against COVID-19 is not yet over and to build a requisite skill match for job opportunities in times like this, demands an industrial oriented apprenticeship training.

In view of this, Food For All Africa through it's NVTI accredited FFAA School of Vocational Apprenticeship is offering apprenticeship based Vocational Training and Job Recommendation for 300 low income youth and single mothers in five regions of Ghana.

Starting this April in Tegbi,Volta region of Ghana.
