Everything is en français… and it’s SUPER fun! 🎊🌟

Chief Amiah, a Grade 9 student, was honored with the Outstanding Student Award at our 2024 Speech and Prize Giving Day.

“I feel very delighted for this award to be bestowed upon me, for it is such a great honor and it also motivates me to do more. Maintaining a very high moral status and creating a healthy environment among my teachers, colleagues, and juniors has been important to me. There have been many forms of inspiration toward me, but I would say leaving a good image and mark at my school was my number one inspiration. I would advise those who wish to accomplish this feat to participate in school activities of any kind, follow the right crowd, and never give up, even in a hopeless situation.”

We’re thrilled to share that Solid Rock Foundation School has won the ‘Most Creative Project’ award in the Edify Transformation Community Project competition across Ghana! Our project, ‘Cyber Shadows: The Adverse Effects of Social Media on Youth,’ focused on raising awareness about the hidden dangers of social media through education, advocacy, and community activities—including a friendly basketball match with High Grade Montessori. A special shoutout to our students for their amazing ‘Of Course Challenge’ video, which spread the message of responsible social media use far and wide. This award is a testament to our innovative spirit and commitment to making a positive impact.

Our Speech and Prize Giving Day celebration wouldn’t be complete without the adorable performance from our kindergartners. They brought so much joy with their fun choreography, filling the room with laughter and big smiles. Watching them dance with so much energy and enthusiasm was a reminder of how special these moments are. Well done to our little stars for making the day even more memorable.
