The mid-term break is over, and EHIS learners are back in class, but they are still buzzing from their epic adventure to Papaye Recreational Centre, Konkonnuru, near Aburi in the Eastern region of Ghana. The day was Friday 20th June, 2025.
As our learners stepped into the centre, they felt like royalty entering a majestic castle, greeted warmly by the friendly staff. The excitement was palpable! π€© They dived straight into an action-packed day of thrilling activities, including:
Sack races that had them giggling and tumbling;
Volleyball matches that tested their teamwork;
The tag of peace that got their hearts racing;
Swings, slides, and merry-go-rounds that brought out the kid in them;
Thrilling bumper rides filled with joy;
Football matches that showed off their skills; plus more.
But the fun didn't stop there. Our curious learners got to see and learn about some animals such as monkeys, gentle tortoises, parrots, peacocks, donkeys, and a few others. ππ’π«
As the day wound down, they gathered in the dining area, shared laughs and stories over delicious meals, and made unforgettable memories.
This trip was an excellent opportunity for our learners to unwind, relax, and recharge for the rest of the academic term. A good way to conclude the mid-term break π.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to the Almighty God for His protection and guidance throughout the trip.
To our dearest parents, thank you for your trust and support.
We applaud the EHIS management team and Teachers for organising trip so well.
And lastly, to the staff and management of Papaye Recreational Centre, Ayeekoo! Your warm hospitality and excellent services made our learners' experience truly special.
