Summer Camp fun!

Reading takes you places! This week we traveled around the world through books. As part of our Story Books Theme, The National Children’s and Mobile Library Bus came to the school. It was a great and exciting experience. #

We love and agree with the theme for this year’s African Union Day. (Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa!) #

This week was all about The Earth!!
We celebrated Earth Day on Monday and followed up with various activities to help us learn and understand how to take good care of Our Earth. Cleaning up, recycling and up cycling. Check out our shopping bags made with T shirts. #

On Friday we wore green in celebration of the day. #

Our week in pictures. At Beanstalk, we celebrate all our students in their cultural celebrations . We joined our friends to celebrate the beginning of DIWALI on Friday. We made colourful diva lamps using clay and paper and paints. Happy Diwali!! #

What a fun way to enjoy our Nursery Rhymes and and Story Books theme. We all dressed in our favorite characters. #

At Beanstalk, we are always looking for fun ways of extending our learning. Dressing up for Opposite was another way of helping the children understand and enjoy the theme. We had opposite dressing day, crazy socks day, upside down day and more.
