MTCE HOLDS FIRST SEMESTER CONVOCATION AS PRINCIPAL DELIVERS STATE OF INSTITUTION ADDRESS
Mampong Technical College of Education held its first semester Convocation meeting for the 2025/2026 academic year on Friday, April 10, 2026.
The session was chaired by the Principal, Prof. Ebenezer Agyemang Badu, who delivered a comprehensive “State of the Institution” address to academic and senior administrative staff, outlining key developments and priorities for the College.

PRINCOF TO MEET PRESIDENT MAHAMA ON TUESDAY
The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) will pay a courtesy call on His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
The meeting will focus on issues of strategic importance to the Colleges of Education and the broader teacher education sector. It is expected to strengthen collaboration between government and the colleges, while providing a platform for PRINCOF leadership to share perspectives that will contribute to the continued advancement of teacher education in Ghana.
The delegation will be led by Prof. Samuel Atintono, National President of PRINCOF, together with principals of all 49 public Colleges of Education across the country.

GES has established dedicated Helplines across all regions in the country to facilitate quick responses to enquiries and provide the necessary support to all staff in the region.
As part of efforts to strengthen communication within the Service, all 16 Regional Education Directorates have been provided with mobile devices and official contact lines to facilitate smooth and timely engagement with both teaching and non-teaching staff within, and across, the respective regions.
All teachers are encouraged to reach out to these Helplines whenever they require assistance.

*Admission into 49 public Colleges of Education for the 2026/2027 academic year are now officially open*
*How to Apply*
A. Applicants will first make a payment of Three Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢350.00) into the Colleges of Education Ghana Account at any branch of the following banks nationwide:
i. Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited.
ii. Additionally, payment can also be made through mobile money wallet:
1. Tigo Cash
2. Airtel Money
3. Vodafone Cash
4. MTN Mobile Money by dialling the shortcode *924*8 # from all networks
B. Upon payment, applicants will receive the following key information:
i. Personal Identification Number (PIN).
ii. An Admission Application Serial Number.
iii. The Admission Website Address- admission.coeportal.edu.gh
With this PIN, the applicant will then visit THE ADMISSION WEBSITE: www.admission.coeportal.edu.gh and follow specific guidelines to fill the application form ONLINE.
Applicants should select three Colleges of their choice for their Program and an accompanying Ghanaian Language.
*NOTE:*
i) Applicants are advised to read and understand all related instructions before completing the application forms.
ii) Applicants are to note that application forms that are not properly completed will not be processed.
iii) After completing the application form online, an applicant will need to print a copy which should be sent with one passport photograph and a copy/copies of results slips (Where available) by EMS PRIORITY ENVELOPE obtainable from Ghana Post nationwide and addressed to the Principal of the COLLEGE CHOSEN.
iv) Applicants will be notified of the receipt of their applications by SMS (text message) and should therefore provide correct and reliable mobile phone numbers when completing the form online.
v) Applicants will also receive admission offer notification by SMS (text message) and those who do not receive any of such notifications may have to understand it to mean that their applications have not been successful.
vi) Applicants are to note that the Colleges will cross-check their results from the West African Examination Council as part of the admission process. Applicants found to have submitted fake or falsified documents in support of their applications will be made to face the legal consequences of their actions.
