CALL FOR COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENTAL LAISON (EcoScan AI)
The Academic Success Foundation (TAS Foundation) is recruiting 7 Community Environmental Liaisons (Field-based) to support EcoScan AI, an environmental crime reporting and intelligence project addressing illegal mining, deforestation, and wildlife trafficking in Ghana, particularly in 7 high-risk regions namely – Ashanti, Eastern, Western, Western North, Central, Volta and Upper East Regions
Community Environmental Laison will work within their local communities to raise awareness, support reporting through a WhatsApp chatbot, and promote environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities
Sensitize community members on environmental crime reporting
Support onboarding and use of the EcoScan AI WhatsApp chatbot
Assist with voice-note reporting and translation where needed
Serve as trusted community focal persons
Who Should Apply
Respected members of the local community
Fluent in local language(s) spoken in the area
Basic smartphone and WhatsApp skills
Passion for environmental protection and community service

The Academic Success Foundation (TAS Foundation) is recruiting 7 Youth Data Analysts to support the implementation of EcoScan AI, an AI-powered environmental crime intelligence system tackling illegal mining, deforestation, and wildlife trafficking in Ghana.
This is a paid, fixed-term opportunity designed to build practical skills in data analysis, AI systems, and environmental intelligence, while contributing to national law enforcement and environmental protection efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Review and validate environmental crime reports from communities
Support AI-powered data analysis and hotspot detection
Assist with satellite imagery review and trend analysis
Contribute to intelligence reports and dashboards for law enforcement
Who Should Apply
Recent graduates or final-year students in data science, computer science, statistics, GIS, environmental science, or related fields
Youth with strong interest in AI, data, and social or environmental impact
Basic data literacy required (advanced skills are an advantage but not mandatory)

Duration: Two (2) months

Number of Positions: Six (6)
The Academic Success Foundation (TAS Foundation) invites applications from qualified and motivated individuals for the position of District Field Officer under its Mentorship and Career Guidance Program.
The successful applicants will support field-level data collection, school engagement, participant selection, mentorship coordination, and represent TAS Foundation at the district level.
Key Duties
Support needs assessment and stakeholder data collection
Assist with participant recruitment and selection activities in schools
Support mentorship and career guidance activities
Serve as TAS Foundation’s focal point of contact in assigned districts
Represent TAS Foundation on selection committees and official engagements
Submit regular field reports to the project team
Qualification & Experience
Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience working with schools, youth programs, or community projects
Familiarity with the assigned district is an advantage
