Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of FINANCE OFFICER at the Global
Theological Seminary effective 1st October, 2025.
1. The Institution: Global Theological Seminary is a tertiary education institution established by the Global
Evangelical Church in 1991 for the purpose of training pastors and other church workers and leaders. The
Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has granted accreditation to the Seminary to run diploma and
degree programmes. Currently, the Seminary runs a Diploma in Theology programme and non-accredited
certificate courses in Theology, Christian Ministry, Christian Leadership, Biblical Counselling, Biblical Peace
Making and Lay Counselling. Plans are far advanced to commence degree programmes.
2. The Position: This is a Senior Level Management position. As the financial manager of the Seminary, the
Finance Officer oversees all financial operations including budgeting and forecasting, accounting, and
financial reporting. He or she ensures that all financial transactions are conducted both legally and ethically;
provides financial guidance and leadership in financial strategy and policy management; identifies and
mitigates financial risks to guarantee the financial health of the Seminary; and supports financial
management decision-making processes.
3. Qualifications and Work Experience: The applicant must:
(1) Have, at least, a master’s degree in relevant fields of study from an accredited university;
(2) (a) Be a member of a credible professional association in good standing; OR
(b) Have completed at least 70% of examinations for professional certification with either CA (Ghana),
CIMA, ACCA or their equivalence; and
(3) Have a minimum of ten (10) years post-qualification working experience in a reputable organization, at
least five (5) of which must have being in a senior financial management, accounting or auditing position
or working in a professional financial, accounting or auditing firm.

together with (ii) signed curriculum vitae; and (iii) certified copies of relevant degree certificates only to the
