Meet Daniella Sackeyfio, a dynamic Level 300 Mechanical Engineering (Plant) student of Sunyani Technical University, participating in the maiden virtual edition of the Ghana Inter-tertiary Trade Challenge (GITTC) 2026.
Daniella represents a new generation of African students who believe that engineering, technology and innovation can become powerful engines for transforming Africa’s trade landscape.
With a strong commitment to problem-solving, technological innovation and entrepreneurship, she is passionate about developing practical solutions that can contribute to Africa’s economic transformation. Her interests extend beyond the classroom, particularly into the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and its vision of a more integrated, competitive and prosperous African market.
As a Mechanical Engineering student, Daniella brings an analytical and technical mindset to trade and entrepreneurship. She is particularly interested in how technology can improve business efficiency, strengthen trade systems and unlock opportunities for African entrepreneurs.
Based in Sunyani and driven by a desire to create meaningful impact through innovation and collaboration, Daniella sees the GITTC 2026 not merely as a competition, but as a platform to test ideas, sharpen her trade intelligence, engage with other young innovators and contribute to conversations shaping Africa’s economic future.
Her participation embodies the spirit of the Ghana Inter-tertiary Trade Challenge: equipping the next generation with the knowledge, creativity and confidence to transform Africa’s trade opportunities into practical solutions.
