There is a place called the making of kings — and that place is between you and God.
1 Samuel 2:7-8 The LORD makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts. He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor.
There is also a place called the Cave of Adullam, where helpless men go in the days of ADVERSITY to be empowered for their ordination.
1 Samuel 22:1-2 “David departed from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam... And everyone who was in distress, and everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was bitter in soul, gathered to him. And he became commander over them.”
Just as there are seasons of watering a plant, so it is that there is another season called harvesting.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Hope you know that in the season of watering the plant there will be a lot of talking. People will be saying,
“This man is wasting his time. It may almost seem like you are failing.
Psalm 126:5 Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.
But when the set time for harvest comes, no one can deny that you sowed a seed. Even though from the very beginning when you were watering it nobody saw you sowing the seeds, and they just saw you watering it, they may have thought you were a fool.
1 Corinthians 4:5 “...then each one will receive his commendation from God.
But until a grain of corn falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone.
John 12:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
What am I saying?
Celebrate your pain today, because there is glory at the end of every trial.
Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
James 1:2-4 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds... that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
When God is for us, we know we can run through every storm of life.
Romans 8:31 If God is for us, who can be against us?
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters I will be with you... when you walk through fire you shall not be burned.”
