📢 OFFICIAL NOTICE: POSTPONEMENT OF RE-THINK AFRICA CONVO 2025 – KUMASI EDITION
We regret to inform our community that the ReThink Africa Convo event scheduled for Thursday, August 7th, 2025 at KNUST Great Hall has been postponed to Saturday, 16th August 2025.
This decision follows the tragic helicopter accident that occurred today, resulting in the loss of several high-profile officials. In light of this national loss, and out of respect for the mourning period being observed by our partners and stakeholders, we believe it is appropriate to pause and stand in solidarity.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families affected, and with the entire nation during this difficult time.
The new date for the event is Saturday, 16th August, 2025.

With profound sorrow and a deep sense of national mourning, Rethink Africa announces the postponement of the Rethink Africa Convo 2.5 – Kumasi Edition, originally scheduled for Thursday, 9th August 2025.
Earlier today, Ghana was shaken by the tragic news of a helicopter crash at Adansi, which claimed the lives of eight distinguished Ghanaians, including government officials, military personnel, and national leaders. Their loss is not only a tragedy to their families and institutions but to the nation at large.
Considering this heartbreaking event and in respect of the national atmosphere of grief, we have rescheduled the Rethink Africa Convo 2.5 to Saturday, 16th August 2025.
We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families, the Government of Ghana, the Ghana Armed Forces, and all citizens of this country during this time of mourning.
As an organization committed to raising leaders and changemakers, we honor their legacy by continuing to build the future they believed in.
