The School of Pharmacy, University of Ghana, successfully held its Staff Durbar on Friday, 31st July 2026, bringing together faculty and staff for a meaningful engagement, recognition, and collaboration.

A significant highlight of the Durbar was the end of tenure of three Heads of Department (HODs). The three outgoing HODs were honoured in recognition of their outstanding service, leadership, and contributions to their respective departments and the School during their tenure. Their dedication and commitment were acknowledged and celebrated by the School community.

The Durbar reaffirmed the School’s commitment to open communication, staff appreciation, effective leadership, and a shared vision for continuous growth and excellence, reflecting the theme: “Connect, Engage, Grow.”

Prospective students interested in selected College of Health Sciences programmes are reminded that applications will close on Friday, July 24, 2026. Applicants are encouraged to complete and submit their applications before the deadline and ensure that their contact details are accurate and up to date for effective communication throughout the admissions process.

Applicants to Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Diagnostic Radiography, Occupational Therapy and Respiratory Therapy will participate in a computer-based entrance examination before the release of WASSCE results. WASSCE results are not required to take the examination and admission decisions will be based on both entrance examination performance and WASSCE results.
