WHO I AM – THE LUMBA CHRONICLES— Episode 1

I am Lumba, a committed servant of my people and a firm believer in action over words. My dedication to Amasaman goes beyond politics—it is about real impact, real development, and real progress. Over the years, I have actively played my part in various areas, ensuring that our constituency moves forward.

As the Assembly Security Coordinator, I have worked to maintain peace and safety. I have also led fumigation exercises to improve sanitation, paid for road reshaping to enhance mobility, and provided support for grassroots mobilization to strengthen our collective voice. Whether through community development, security coordination, or direct support for the people, I have always been on the ground, working for Amasaman’s future.

I believe leadership is not about waiting for change but being the change. My commitment remains strong, and I will continue to stand with my people, ensuring that together, we build a better Amasaman.

COMMITTED TO THE CAUSE – Episode 18

During the campaign, I played my part not only by providing financial support but also by being physically present. I ensured security for our activities and actively supported one of the major health walks, contributing both in cash and in person.

On the day of the event, as I stood on the podium, my efforts did not go unnoticed. Honorable Sedem ( MP ) was impressed and publicly acknowledged my contributions, recognizing the dedication and commitment I brought to the campaign.

Every effort counts in building a strong movement, and I remain committed to the progress of our party and community.

A Reflection on the Journey to Victory – Episode 8

The strength of any political movement lies in its grassroots, and in Amasaman, the women's wing has been a cornerstone of our progress. Their resilience, dedication, and tireless efforts have been critical in driving the NDC's vision forward.

Throughout the campaign and even beyond, I have consistently supported the women's wing, recognizing the vital role they play in our constituency's success. From organizing events to mobilizing communities, they have been unwavering in their commitment. My support has been both a token of appreciation for their hard work and a means to empower them to do even more.

This consistent collaboration has fostered a sense of unity and purpose within the women's wing, ensuring that their voices are heard and their contributions are valued. As we continue to build Amasaman, I remain committed to standing with them and advocating for initiatives that uplift women and strengthen their impact in our constituency.

We must endeavour to work together to sustain this momentum and bring lasting development to Amasaman.

In the heat of the campaign, I understood the importance of addressing the immediate needs of the community while showcasing the NDC’s commitment to development. To that end, I personally sponsored the grading of some key roads in the constituency.

However, recognizing the opportunity to further energize our base and secure votes, I brought Sedem to the community to oversee the projects. This move was strategic—it demonstrated our ability to deliver tangible results and boosted his visibility among the electorate.

This was more than just a campaign tactic; it was a way to remind the community of the NDC’s readiness to act and our focus on their welfare. While the election may be over, the need for sustainable development continues, and I remain committed to ensuring lasting progress for Amasaman.

In every great journey, there are moments that define our commitment and resolve. During the campaign leading up to the historic victory of the NDC in Amasaman, I believed in the power of teamwork and the need to provide unwavering support to our cause.

As part of this commitment, I contributed GHC 20,000.00 to support the parliamentary candidate and the constituency. This was more than just a financial gesture; it was an investment in the vision we all share—a vision of progress, inclusivity, and empowerment for Amasaman.

Now, a month and a half after the elections, I look back with immense pride at what we accomplished together. The victory we secured was not mine alone—it was the collective effort of the NDC family, our supporters, and every individual who believed in our shared dream.

As we move forward, I remain steadfast in my dedication to serve Amasaman with integrity and purpose. The journey does not end with this victory; it marks the beginning of greater things to come. Let us continue to rise together for the betterment of our constituency and our nation.

A REFLECTION ON JOURNEY TO VICTORY I

About a month and a half ago, we made history in Amasaman as the NDC emerged victorious in the elections. This victory was not just the result of hard work but a testament to the unity and dedication of everyone who believed in the NDC’s vision for a better future.

Before the elections, I proudly contributed GHC 10,000 to support the limited voter registration exercise. This gesture, made in the presence of our parliamentary candidate ( Now MP ), constituency treasurer and deputy, secretary, and chairman, was to ensure that every eligible voter had the opportunity to make their voice count.

Today, as I reflect on our success, I am reminded that this is only the beginning. Our journey to bring meaningful development and progress to Amasaman continues. I am more determined than ever to serve and work tirelessly for the good of our people and the constituency.

Thank you, Amasaman, for your unwavering support and belief in the NDC. Together, we will achieve even greater things.
