In today’s highly competitive era and also the increase of awareness towards the importance of education, every student aspires to excel in academics to ensure a bright future – in whichever field it be. More and more households believe in using education to climb the social ladder both in terms of financial or even social circle.
At Brilla, we believe that all children deserve access to quality education. Every student is different when it comes to their learning abilities and grasping power. A one-solution-fits-all approach does not work anymore. We believe that inside every child lives a story waiting to unfold. But those stories start in very different places. The social and economic disparities that young people experience outside the classroom create disparities within it.
Improving the academic outcomes of students is one of our nation’s most urgent challenges. By senior high school level, many students can be four or more years behind grade level, with mathematics and integrated science especially being considered a dangerous pitfall on the pathway to graduation. 75% of students who are not able to advance their education to the tertiary level cite subject failures as their number one reason for not being able to access the Corporate dream. A core and pertinent problem in the education space today is how parents and students who believe that being better and having the best education expertise serves as the gateway to better living option in the future can optimize and improve academic performances and outcomes.
When we help all children become high academic achievers, we set them up for lifelong success. Children with high academic performances and excellent outcomes are less likely to be unemployed, underemployed or on welfare as adults. And they’re less likely to be involved in crime or struggle with substance abuse. People power makes the difference. With more than a third of students struggling with their academics, it’s a big challenge for schools to provide the individual attention students need to get back on track.
