🧧 BLESS THE CHURCH WITH YOUR GIFT 🪡

What happens when one’s gift is poured out in love?

On 22 February 2026, I continued my sermon series at my church, CACI City Assembly, and we looked at “Blessing the Church with Your Gift” (Acts 9:36-41) as the second dimension of stewardship: inward — flowing from devotion to God into service for His people.

We reflected on the life of Tabitha, a woman whose simple skill of sewing became a lifeline for widows in her community. Her gift clothed widows and strengthened the church.

Her service was so impactful that when she passed away, the church mourned deeply — and God, through Apostle Peter, restored her life, as testimony of how He honours faithful service.

Blessing the Church with your gift means strengthening the body of Christ through service, generosity, and encouragement. Tabitha’s sewing was as impactful as Peter’s preaching because it clothed the vulnerable and revealed Christ’s compassion.

Lydia opened her home to apostles, creating a hub for ministry. Priscilla and Aquila mentored Apollos, sharpening his teaching. Barnabas gave generously, sustaining the church.

Don’t despise small acts of service. Your gift may not look like preaching or singing, but when offered to the church, it becomes ministry. Each gift, whether practical or spiritual, builds unity and meets real needs.

Like Tabitha, every believer has something to contribute. When offered to God, every skill, resource, and act of generosity can have eternal impact.

🧧 BLESS THE LORD WITH YOUR GIFT 🛶

Sometimes, the most ordinary things become extraordinary when placed in God’s hands.

On Sunday, 15 February 2026, using Peter and his boat (Luke 5:1-5) as a case study, I led the congregation at CACI City Assembly to reflect on “Blessing the Lord with Your Gift”, as the first dimension of stewardship: vertical — between you and God.

Blessing the Lord with your gift means offering it in worship, obedience, and devotion. Worship is not only singing or praying; it is surrendering your abilities, time, and resources to God.

Peter’s boat was just an ordinary fisherman’s tool until he surrendered it to Jesus. That simple act of obedience turned into a pulpit for the Word and a platform for breakthrough. This means that even small acts of obedience and surrender can unlock great blessings.

Every believer has a “boat” — a skill, resource, or ability entrusted by God. When offered to Him, it becomes extraordinary. God multiplies it for eternal impact. So, identify your “boat.” Dedicate it to God’s service. Practice obedience.

Blessing the Lord with your gift is the foundation of stewardship. Once this is established, your gift can flow inward to bless the Church and outward to bless the World.

On March 01, 2026, I wrapped up a 3-part sermon series at my church, CACI City Assembly, titled:
“USING YOUR GIFT TO BLESS THE LORD, THE CHURCH, & THE WORLD” (1 Peter 4:10).

Across three Sundays, we explored how every believer is divinely entrusted with gifts — not for selfish gain, but for stewardship:

➥ Vertically – to bless the Lord in worship and obedience.
➥ Inwardly – to bless the Church in service and encouragement.
➥ Outwardly – to bless the World in witness, compassion, and transformation.

Using Peter’s boat, Dorcas’ handiwork, and Cornelius’ generosity as biblical references, we saw how ordinary gifts become extraordinary when surrendered to God. We also learned that stewardship is faithfulness, and faithfulness brings both earthly fruit and eternal reward.

I’ll be sharing more reflections on each part of the series in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. For now, be blessed by this short video excerpt from the first Sunday’s ministration. More clips to follow soon. Please share to bless someone.

Remember, your gift is not just for you — it’s for the Lord, the Church, and the World. Use it faithfully, for a day of accountability lies ahead.

May your “boat” be offered to God, your service strengthen the Church, and your witness transform the world. Love and blessings!

! On this Workers’ Day, remember, every labour of love and gift used faithfully must be worship to God and service to humanity. May we find joy in our labour, strength for our calling, and impact from our gifts! 🤗

! 🎉🎂🎈

Feels surreal. The age where expectations rise, timelines tighten, and the world assumes you’ve “figured it out.” Meanwhile, I still laugh like a boy and dream like a teen. But in God, I trust! 😄❤️

Here’s to a blissful journey ahead! 🥂

ZEAL WITH KNOWLEDGE 🕯📖

You have heard of zeal without knowledge, but have you also heard of knowledge without zeal?

Today, many preachers, fearing zeal without knowledge, have swung the pendulum too far. Their messages incite endless cravings for deeper revelations and constant study. But in doing so, they risk another imbalance: knowledge without zeal.

Paul warned against zeal without knowledge in Romans 10:2. Yet knowledge without zeal is just as dangerous. Both miss God’s original design.

Knowledge without zeal brings about coldness, lifelessness, and unfruitfulness. It fills the mind but never stirs the heart. It can quote scriptures, analyse doctrines, and debate endlessly, yet it lacks the fire to act, love, serve, and sacrifice.

Apollos in Scriptures (Acts 18:24-28) shows the balance. He was “an eloquent man, mighty in the Scriptures”, yet also “fervent in spirit”. His knowledge fueled passion, and his zeal was guided by truth.

Even when Priscilla and Aquila taught him more accurately, he didn’t stop at learning; he preached with greater effectiveness. That’s the perfect picture of a model for us to follow: knowledge birthed zeal, and zeal drove him to deeper knowledge.

Knowledge without zeal is not the solution to zeal without knowledge; it is simply another problem. One generation burns out in passion without wisdom; another freezes in wisdom without passion. Neither advances the Kingdom.

True power is found when zeal and knowledge meet – when passion is guided by wisdom and wisdom ignited by passion (Romans 15:19). As James 1:22 reminds us, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only”.

So, as we teach, let us also stir. As we open books, let us also open hearts. The Church grows not by knowledge alone but by transformation (1 Corinthians 2:4-5).

Let us not only seek to know but also to burn. The Kingdom needs not just informed minds but burning hearts – hearts both enlightened and enflamed (1 Corinthians 4:20).

Remember: zeal and knowledge – one without the other deforms, but together, they transform.

Like Apollos, may we be mighty in the Scriptures and fervent in spirit, in Jesus’ name!

🌹 NUGGETS ON COMPANIONSHIP 🌹

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion…”

— 📖 Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

What is without ? Not just romance, but the steady presence of someone who says, “I’m here, and I’m staying.”

Companionship is more than just being together. Companionship is that miracle of life, where ordinary days shared with someone are turned into cute stories, burdens into lighter loads, and victories into louder celebrations.

Companionship is the quiet strength of knowing someone walks beside you, to offer comfort in times of uncertainty, and the joy of building memories that outlast seasons. It’s not about perfection, but about presence.

In a world that often celebrates grand gestures, companionship reminds us that love is sustained in the simple, consistent presence of another. Whether in friendship, marriage, or community, true companionship is a gift that shapes our journey and lightens our load.

So as we are almost drawing this love month to a close, let us not only seek companionship but also be companions ourselves – faithful, encouraging, and present. Because sometimes, the greatest expression of love is simply saying: “I’m here, and I’m staying.”

I hope this inspires you. Love and blessings! 🥰

THE FIRE OF LOVE

is mysterious. It can destroy, but it can also refine. It can consume, but it can also illuminate. Love is much the same. When love burns in its purest form, it doesn’t scorch; it sanctifies. Neither does it just flicker; it fuels.

is more than the feelings we have. As fire warms, refines, and ignites passion, so does true love. It comforts in cold seasons, purifies selfish motives, and sparks courage to serve beyond ourselves.

So, as we still dey this love month inside, I just want to remind you that your love for God and humanity should not be passive. It must be active, consuming, and contagious. Don’t just use words but show actions too.

When we allow God’s love to burn within us, it transforms our relationships, our communities, and even our vision for the future.

So dear friends and family, let the fire of your love keep burning, because a world without love grows cold, but a heart on fire can light up generations! ❤️‍🔥
