Ayawaso Central Municipal Education Office

Ayawaso Central Municipal PTA this afternoon presented dustbins to selected schools within the Municipality at the Municipal Education Office Conference Room.

Present at the handing over and distribution ceremony were the Municipal Education Director, Management, Staff of the Education office, Central PTA Executive and Headteachers of selected schools

Management of Ayawaso Central Municipal Education Directorate express its heartfelt gratitude to the Central PTA for this kind gesture.

The Ayawaso Central Municipal Education Directorate will in Collaboration with the MP for Ayawaso Central Municipal Education Directorate will organise the first ever Municipal Teacher Prize and 4th Edition of Send-off for Retirees in the Municipality.

CELEBRATION OF WORLD SIGHT DAY

The second Thursday of October each year is celebrated as World Sight Day globally.

In view of this, Total Vision EyeCare in collaboration with Ayawaso Central Municipal Education Directorate organised a free visual screening exercise for learners at Kotobabi 3 Basic School on 9th October, 2025.

The Theme for this year's celebration was " Love your eyes"

The objective is to raise global awareness on visual impairment and blindness, emphasizing that a significant portion of visual problems are preventable and treatable through regular screening.

Management of Ayawaso Central Municipal Education Directorate extends its appreciation to Total Vision EyeCare for screening the learners and also offering free lense to two of them.
